It's kind of funny in a way. The real intelligence of the voter came out when they voted for Trump. People are going to pay the price for this stupidity. Rest assured, it's going to cost the average American a great deal of money, security, and even their rights, by the time he's out of office.

Trump doesn't want to govern. He wants to state things and then see people scurrying around, making it happen. He's in for a rude awakening. There is going to be a tremendous split between the lifer politicians and his Wall street/hedge fund cronies he's bringing in. It's not going to be pretty. In the end, the Republicans will strip him of as much power as possible. Since he really wants to be King, not President, that makes this whole thing a total fiasco.
If his play works out right, he'll leave for DC on Monday, and be back in NYC on Thursday, so he spends half the week in his tower, not in the White House. He'll turn it over to his son-in-law (Geitner), and his kids, to run the country, the way he wants.
Sit back and enjoy the ride. We're about to see a country with 250 years of history related to democratic principles taken through the mud like nobody thought possible, just a year ago. Nobody knew just how stupid voters can be.

heres my question; If it turns out that Russia intervened directly into our election to help Trump win, shouldnt that invalidate his election?

Interesting question. I have no idea what they'd do. Maybe have Congress elect a new President, or keep Obama around long enough for a new election. But, I doubt it's going to come anywhere near that happening.
Influencing an election verbally, and through advertising, is not the same as changing vote tabulations. Reasonable people should have been able to see the absurdity of the ads that were out there. The fact that they didn't doesn't speak highly of the Trump supporters. Hillary was right, to a degree, on the type of voters, but forgot to ad the word "stupid" as well.

don't like the cabinet members he has picked so far. i really dislike the absent minded governor from Texas, i think he is worthless. Oh well, only time will tell us what this next 4 years is going to be like.

It won't take too long before Trump and Congress are at each other like a couple of kids who can't agree on who sits where, in the back seat of the car. Enjoy the ride, since there's nothing we can do about it.
