Like a typical liberal, you constantly refute your own words. First, Republicans were born under a rock, now you will have it that they were birthed in a different manner. And your latter statement is completely false, but that is understandalbe given the messenger. Right-wingers tend to be less intelligent than left-wingers, and people with low childhood intelligence tend to grow up to have racist and anti-gay views, says a controversial new study. The jury may be out on whether conservatives are less intelligent than liberals, but there's evidence that they may be physically stronger. Last year, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences published a fascinating paper by Aaron Sell, John Tooby and Leda Cosmides of the Center for Evolutionary Psychology at the University of California at Santa Barbara. The authors measured the strength of 343 students using weight-lifting machines at a gym. The participating students completed questionnaires designed to measure, among other things, their proneness to anger, their history of fighting and their fondness for aggression as a way to solve both individual and geopolitical problems. Sell, Tooby and Cosmides found that men (but not women) with the most physical strength were the most likely to feel entitled to good treatment, anger easily, view themselves as successful in winning conflicts and believe in physical force as a tool for resolving interpersonal and international conflicts. Women who thought of themselves as pretty showed the same pattern of greater aggression. I find it curious that right-wingers keep claiming they're the "tough guys," when it's essentially the left-wingers who end up serving in the military, and protecting our nation.
You can't go by those who vote. There's a total lack of communications to those in lower ranks, when it comes to voting rights. It's the fighting people - lower ranks - who fight the damned wars, not the carpet bagging officers sitting in air conditioned comfort.

PC, I am sure that you and TW may remember that the majority of states with the higher avg. IQ's voted for a Democrat running for president when Bush was elected president both times. In fact, the top 16 states with the highest avg. IQ voted against Bush. Moreover, not only did the top 16 states with the highest avg. IQ vote against Bush, but the remaining 3 states voting against Bush were ranked 18, 21 & 24. Accordingly, Bush won votes primarily from states 25-50..consisting of the lowest avg. IQ in the nation. What was I telling you about inbreeding. Yup, Republicans depend on the dumb, the imbred..those who have difficulty walking and chewing gum at the same time. Most likely those in clown town publicly stated they voted for Gore or Kerry, but once inside the voting booth they voted the truth.

I don't know why people want to believe that intelligent people are the ones who are wealthy.
More times than not, the people who are wealthy come from a line of wealthy people, and that old story that money begets money sets in.
