Favre played well last night. Once again, we saw a team rally around him, and him making the throws needed to win another game. Regardless of how good Rodgers is, watching Favre is exciting, because of his style of play. Since the Jets were 3-13 last year, and are now leading their division after 10 games, I'm going to go on record as saying that Favre did contribute to that climb, and that we're going to be lucky to make the playoffs in Green Bay. Regardless of other signings by the Jets, and injuries on the Packers, it does say something about what happens when you have a Favre throwing the ball. And something that I thought amazing. In their first drive last night, for a TD, Favre threw five passes, to five different receivers, all complete. That said two things. #1 - He was taking what the Pats left open. #2 - His spreading the ball around from the beginning made it easier for him to engineer the TD drive in the 4th quarter, because they couldn't defend against one or two players. He would have thrown to whomever they left open. Vintage favre on thursday. Really entertaining game, and like you said, watching favre is always exciting.

the Jets were 4-12 last year Tw, not 3-13, eitherway they stunk. Remember in 2006 how the Pack went 8-8 after a 4-12 seaso n the year before, well, this Jets team, is going to outdo the 06 Pack by a feqw games. The jets are looking like a 10-11 win team.

That was a great game to watch. Couldn't believe what happened but it was exciting. Too bad I had to watch it on NFL.com cause charter sucks.

Favre has gained a td on manning over the course of this season, He's now up by 137. He hasn't thrown for 300 yards in a game yet, the highest was 290 against the Cardinals. He'll get to 3000 though, its only a matter of when.

2 tds 1 pick 224 yards against the Titans. reached 20 for the 14th year, still has a shot at 30, and with teams like Seattle and Denver coming up, he has a chance to rack up a few td passes. favre 462 (20 as a Jet) Manning 325 137 ahead of Manning

The Jets are playing good ball right now, Kris Jenkins has been as important a pickup as Favre I think. When they were throwing 50 times a game, Favre was struggling. Goes to show you what a balanced attack with a running game can do for a QB.

Yep, its what grant's emergence did for Brett last year. Balanced the attack and took some of the burden off. jones and Washington ae doing the same this year for Brett. brett's yards are way down, he'll likely end up about 600 yards behing last years output. tsds and picjks will probably settle around his average 28-17.
