I think I'm going to go to school this winter

Yup! It's been a long time since I was certified as an EMT. That was back in 1971.

Since I'm working security, and because we had a guy have seizures this past Saturday, and had two ambulance calls, I think I'll work towards a license as a first-responder, so I can help people in distress, before the EMT teams arrive.

Since there's a lot of us in the area who are older, it would help to know there's that additional help available.
