Lunch today: Fried chicken, beans, potato salad. Tonight: Grilling - Smoked sausages, left over beans & potato salad, followed by the dance at the pavilion, and a couple of Long Island iced teas.
Sunday - Church, breakfast out, dinner is steak & tail. We have fantastic lobsters, and steaks for the grill. A party at a friend's place, with all the trimmings. About three hours later, we head out to our favorite parking spot for watching the fireworks in town. We're going to have a beautiful layout of foods to eat while we kick back and enjoy the display. Mostly hors'd'ouvres, and things like that. Then it's to the Pavilion for more live music.
Monday - the 4th - A visit to town to watch the parade, and say a prayer for those vets who have served and died for our nation. After that, a trip to the ball park in town to watch a little softball, eat a few hot dogs, and enjoy a few beers. After that, come home, relax, and then we're having a pool party complete with drinks and food for about three hours at night.
Then it's time for bed, and sleep!
Like I said. Not much going on this weekend for us!

Same pour moi. I basically watched sports and COULD NOT stop watching the History Channel re REVOLUTION series. I went to water aerobics (inside & outside pools). Inside, fossils -- above 40 year old crowd & lots of kids. Outside -- 18 - 25 year olds & very few fossils. Nothing finer when doing water aerobics then admiring beautiful babes wearing teeny bikinis. On the 4th, I let off some mortars & bottle rockets, drank a few beers and cooked some steak shisk kabobs on the gas grill. The last time that I shot off bottle rockets was on New Years Eve a few years ago when the Packers played the Bears. At that time, I drank several shots of JD, Bacardi 151, Grain alcohol, beer and much, much more. In any case, after shooting off several bottle rockets, my son asked me how my entire arm was soooooooo black. I responded that I was lighting the bottle rockets while holding them in my hand. My son told me that I was suppose to place the bottle rockets in a bottle and then light them and that I was lucky that I did not hurt myself. On that night I learned..Alcohol and fireworks can have dire consequences.
