Sorry for being gone for sooooooo long, but I am finally back at work and between catching up on 14 weeks of work, doing water aerobics after work, I have NO life. I have been leaving to work at 6:40 AM and getting home around 8:30 PM. The good news, I am walking much better and doing much more PAIN FREE. I am truly going to miss my JD + Oxycodone combo pain relief mixture. Oh well, I am just going to have to resort to drinking JD & grain alcohol. ;D

Fortunately, I know you're smart enough not to mix alcohol with pain pills! I'm glad you're pain free now! It has to be a great feeling, knowing that this rehab will bring you back closer to where you really want to be.

Thanks. However, no need to buy whiskey bar since I never leave home without my Packers flask containing the best JD that money can buy.

Thanks. Yes, my knees are improving BIG time. Everybody who sees me walk tells me that I am walking taller due to my left leg being more straight/not bent as I walk. Prior to the surgery, my left torn Lateral Meniscus was wedged in my left knee joint, thereby preventing my left leg from fully extending/always being slightly bent. What is interesting is that one leg bends inward and one leg bends outward due to one leg being properly aligned and the other leg being slightly bowlegged. Regardless, when I use the elliptical machine..many people are STUNNED at how fast and how long I can go sooooooooo fast and I AM FINALLY DOING THESE EXERCISES WITHOUT A CONSTANT STABBING SENSATION IN ALL PARTS OF MY KNEE. Wooooooo Hoooooooo!!! I will probably be doing water aerobics 5 days, or so, per week for the next year. I will continue using the elliptical machine and will gradually increase to 5 miles per day 4 days per week and will slowly incorporate weight strengthening and other cardio activities in my workouts. I really would like to get back to benching 350+, curling 150+ and leg lifting 300+. It would be great to run a 4.7 40, but I will probably be lucky to run a 6.0 40 based on the current weakness and lack of balance in my legs. However, in the water I am doing balancing exercises, stretching, walking, running, roundhouses, reverse roundhouses...In fact, I am able to kick both my left leg and right leg straight out of 5 feet of water (both forwards & backwards). People are amazed with how flexible I am. The one thing that I have been working real hard to do..bend my left leg and touch my butt with my left heel. My left leg simply does not bend as it should and that is why I continue to work very hard with my stretching. I figure that when my left leg is as flexible of my right leg, my walking will significantly improve and pain should be less significant.
