1. Lunch - Check! Cold tuna noodle casserole and a Leinie's Red for the drink. 2. Hit the shower - Up next. 3. Go to pool for swim - Immediately after shower. 4. Take a nap - Will do. Right after I get back from the pool & shower again. 5. Cocktail Party at 4:30 PM - My wife is making stuffed mushrooms right now. They should be great! They always are! I'm going to be drinking a couple of Margaritas tonight, so the beer for lunch is kind of a "conditioner." I don't want a hangover! Busy... busy... busy... Just not enough hours in a day to play as much as I'd like! ;D

We're back from the cocktail party. I had two screwdrivers. Perfect! My wife's stuffed mushrooms were a hit! She made six dozen, and they were scarfed up in a heartbeat. Everyone asked her for the recipe. We're thinking about going to a "farm breakfast" tomorrow morning. A lot of our friends are. It's not far from here. All you can eat pancakes, ham, sausage, applesauce, etc... only $6. For the young'uns, there's a corn box. To those that don't know what a corn box is, it's like a sand box, the corn replacing the sand. We've convinced a couple of our newer friends, who've never attended one, that to eat, you have to milk two cows. They're preparing themselves! Tomorrow at 2 PM, we have a BBQ. There's about 30 of us going. Brats, burgers, and ribs. I get to have a couple more screwdrivers!! Woohoo!!!! Then, at 7 PM, we have "another" get together. One of our friends makes the damnedest 3 berry pie I've ever tasted! She's baking four of them, so we each get a quarter of a pie, with a nice scoop of home made ice cream... not the crap from stores! ;D Then we're going to the dance. My wife found this nifty drink cooler that holds about six drinks, and has an outside shell that you freeze. It will keep a nice batch of screwdrivers chilled for us, as we enjoy the activities. Another boring weekend in paradise. Sunday will be slower though. We plan on 8:30 AM Mass, going for breakfast, relaxing until mid afternoon, then heading to the pool for a little pool party, followed by everyone bringing their own burgers or whatever, to grill on the grill, and their own drinks. A BYOeverything. It will round out the weekend, quietly. We'll be sitting in front of the TVs by 7PM.

It is tough, but someone just has to do it!
Just finished the pie, and came home. We're getting our drinks together to go down to the dance. Tonight is "Prom night."
Believe it or not, a lot of people are showing up in tuxedos, and formals. We're showing up "as is," to watch it, not participate. We don't even know what band is playing, so we won't be there too long.
Anyhow, I have a date with a fantastic piece of fried chicken breast, when we get back!
I should sleep good tonight!

The dance was great. There were over 500 people there. We decided to leave before it was early, and stopped at a friend's house for coffee and a big piece of home made apple pie, with a healthy scoop of home made vanilla ice cream. Lots of calories but... sometimes you gotta do it!
On a side note, they did a couple of 50/50 drawings at the dance, and raised quite a few bucks to send to the Joplin, MO relief fund. Last week, we had 50/50 drawings, and sent a nice chunk of change to the Milton Pantry, for those less fortunate. We do try to do a little bit to help others, while having fun.
Then I got home and ate a half of a chicken breast, and am now settled in to watch a few minutes of TV, then toddle off to bed.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. I'm looking forward to Monday, so I can kick back and relax. This whole "having fun" thing is exhausting! There's no time to relax!!! ;D
