Somebody needs to tell the NOW President to take a chill pill and remind her that the entire US DOES NOT revolve around women who can not keep their legs closed.

Tis my harsh response to her selfish and self righteous IN YOUR FACE attack on Obama.

COMPROMISE is the only way that the health care bill has ANY chance of passing.

Terry O’Neill, the president of the National Organization of Women, was not happy to hear President Obama’s response when ABC News asked him about an amendment added to the House Democrats’ health care bill Saturday night that further restricts abortion services in both public and private insurance plans.

“He has passed health care for half the population and an anti-abortion bill for the rest of us,” O’Neill said.

She said she understood the president’s frustration in wanting to pass health care reform, but “it is not acceptable for him to achieve that goal by pushing women back into the back alleys to die.” And the anti-abortion amendment added to the health care reform legislation “does just that.”

No matter what, the Supreme Court will find the "no abortion" portion of the bill unconstitutional under the same premise of Wade vs Roe.

No one is making abortion illegal, so Roe V. Wade isn't relevant.

If a chick wants an abortion for reasons of birth control, have her go get a job instead of having taxpayers pay for it.

If sooooo many others are denied coverage and/or their premiums are significantly higher because of high cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking, arthritis...then why in Hades should people who can not keep their legs closed be given a free ride? The same goes for those who have STD's and AIDS.

I am telling you that empowering health care gurus with the power to determine what can be covered, whether premiums can be increased, is a bunch of bull. There must be standards that BOTH parties agree to. This bill should not be a preferential, IN YOUR FREAKIN FACE bill, but should be a compromise based on both parties who are adhering to the will of their constituents.
