So it begins. The people awake from the fog of Obama's double talk and sweet Republicans into power in Virginia. Tis a sad day. However, Virginians figured that they would throw a bone to the Republicans and see how they are gonna pay for their programs. Virginians are prepared for Republican excuses, such as, WE CAN'T DO OUR JOBS BECAUSE OBAMA HAS SPENT ALL THE MONEY OR OBAMA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CURRENT ECONOMIC PROBLEMS, ESPECIALLY NO JOBS. Yup, Republicans continue their game of lip service, blaming Obama and other Democrats and have NO SOLUTIONS. Fortunately, VA Republicans are now in the line of fire. Welcome to Obama's world.

It will be interesting seeing how this works out in Virginia. I don't think it's a question of which party is in office in either state. I think it's a question of what these two guys can do for the people immediately.
It's not an indictment against the Obama policies even though some people are going to point at it, but they should know better. It's an indictment as to what has been done on a local level.

I miss Former Delegate McQuigg, who is a Republican. She was truly awesome, had a GORGEOUS daughter, but travelling from Lake Ridge, VA to Richmond, VA during legislation time, was tooooooo taxing on her. Acccordingly, she ran for and overwhelmingly won the election for Clerk of Circuit Court for Prince William County, VA. Whenever I had a 'local' problem she immediately took care of the problem. Per my requests, she was able to use funds to put in a sidewalk along the main street in Lake Ridge to connect to a bike path and to a shopping center. Also, she had lights installed in areas which were accident prone due to fog, snow, ice, rain which were located at the bottom of a hill. She adjusted the timing of traffic lights so that our commute was more timely... She and I became very good friends, to the point that she wanted me to call her by her first name, but I refused because I constantly reminded her that I considered it to be disrespectul to address her by anything other then Delegate McQuigg. PC, as you can see I play nicely with Republicans who are willing and able to do their jobs.
