First, why are we even funding these idiots?
Secondly, how does defunding this organization for one month reform the organization?
Congress is becoming more laughable. Stronger penalties have been leveraged against private citizens.

Stronger penalties have been leveraged against private citizens. First. We fund them because Obama is a friend and former lawyer of their's, and they push the liberal agenda. Second. It was never ment to reform the organization. It was meant to give the appearance of the government punishing them. It was meant to slience the idiot citizens of the USA. It was an appeasing move to begin with. Take away the money for a while and then the compliant media won't report when we fund their crooked asses in a couple of months! WAKE UP!!! We have to hold these moron's feet to the fire!!!!

Typical liberalism at it's best. "Look at us..we are doing the peoples work." I wonder how many liberals return to the back room of Congress laughing their asses off after making such public statements. Most I suspect except Harry Reid. He doesn't have a sense of humor.

There have been people in ACORN who haven't done there job properly. There have been some who are crooks. But what group, or organization, doesn't have that happen? I don't understand why so-called "conservatives" are so inspired that they find it necessary to attack anything that deals with helping minorities find homes to live in, and pride. Is it a "superiority complex" that motivates this need? Maybe it's just good old fashioned racism. But, I thought this pretty well tells the story of what right wing hate mongers attempt to do, and then whine and cry about how the media treats them "unfairly." Watch the video. It's a little over 3 minutes long, but it shows exactly how the mongers work, and how they twist statements, and lie to make their points. www.acornhousing.org/index.php

I don't trust anyone who has to read a prepared statement from a teleprompter.
Wouldn't want to screw up the lie you know.

This is happening at ACORN branches all over the nation!! This is an organizational problem. www.acorn-8.net/ This sight was started by ACORN members that have smelled a rat and been discarded by ACORN because they asked to many questions. pajamasmedia.com/blog/the-complete-guide-to-acorn-voter-fraud/ They have been accused of Voter registration fraud in 14 states!!!! No one is saying the stated mission is bad...The problem is that they use that mission and the desperate workers they expolit to further their bank rolls of tax payer money! Thanks for inferring that I am racist though TW. I didn't expect that from you!

Liberals think anyone is racist who doesn't agree or support the Maoist agenda in Washington.

I didn't say anyone was a racist. But it's obvious by the constant attacks against anything that deals with minorities it's an underlying current of racism or a feeling of superiority.
I can't see any other reason someone would go into an office with a misleading intent, to try to create an issue, and then blatantly say that they pander to the type the indicate.

oh..I don't know why one would do such a thing other than to expose mis-use of public funds. It's called Free Press. Live with it Pinkos!

Well, you certainly can't trust anyone handling money. Look at Madoff! All white people are brazen crooks who feed off everyone else. It's obvious just by looking at Madoff, isn't it?

White people have a lust for conquest. Look at the history. So yes, you are correct in your estimation.

Based on your statement we can then assume it's racism that motivates people like the ones who went into the Philadelphia office of ACORN.
I guess I'm not white. I'm munificent.

Crying racisim to wag the dog and ignore facts is pretty weak TW!! I don't give a rat's ass if those people in the ACORN offices are white or black or whatever....hell the founders are white so who cares really about race??!?! It is about the mis-use of public funds and the willingness to cheat the system to help people...How about we teach people how to opperate within the system honestly and earn their way on merit?? Sound to radical or what???

Misuse of public funds is something that's done all the time by elected officials. You're choosing to single out a group that's intent is to help minorities, and charging them all with being crooks.
Why aren't right-wingers spending a little time talking about the misuse of funds that happened with the Fed in New Orleans, under the Bush flag, or how Hastert used tactics to become a multimillionaire overnight with a land deal in Illinois, by getting funding for a pet highway project that went directly over land he'd bought on the cheap prior to his pushing the highway issue, knowing full well, he'd profit by it.
Hell! Republicans blocked any chance of investigating the issue because they knew their Speaker was a crook. Instead, they went on a witch hunt against ACORN at that point.
How about the "bridge to nowhere" in Alaska? How about the Alaskan Governor who was drummed out of office for taking bribes to insure federal and state monies went to the right people?
You're choosing ACORN for a reason. It's not because it's "totally corrupt," because it's not. So, what is the reason? Why are Republicans hanging on this so tight?
As for the statement it's "exposing graft," that's a joke, isn't it? It's strictly cannon fodder to throw at the left to get the more radical right-wingers to get on the bandwagon run by the neos.
There's corruption everywhere. It's obviously in every institution of finance.
If ACORN is the biggest problem we have, this country is in pretty good shape.
EDIT:
That said, I don't like ACORN. I think it does more harm than good, and their loans aren't any better than the sweetheart deals that public officials have gotten directly through the banks.
