Very childish and wrong. Members of Congress MUST stop playing these head games and do their freakin jobs. Denying Republicans keys is deplorable, insulting and should be condemned. Neither Democrats nor Republicans have the right to deny access from the GOP’s meeting room to the main committee chamber. Democrats DO NOT have the right to anoint themselves as 'Guardian of the key.'  Democrats who abused their positions, should be punished accordingly. |

If Towns can't support his claim that there's an ongoing DOJ investigation of the mortgage group that he's alluded to as a reason to not issue subpoenas, he should be removed from the chair, and the committee.
He had no right locking them out. They have every right to be part of the process.
