It doesn't matter. Wilson is a fool, and most people within his own party have separated themselves from him, and his outburst.

Had to laugh at a couple of Wilson clips on The Daily Show. In the first one, he's saying Congress has more important things to do than debate meaningless resolutions. Then they flashed back to 2004 when he was in the well of the House offering a . . .meaningless resolution about John Kerry's actions with Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

Interesting enough...a broken clock can be right twice a day. After Wilson's outburst, legislators spent the following Monday reviewing the language of the bills to insure that illegal immigrants were not covered. Don't want to make a liar out of Obama ya know! If Wilson hadn't stated what he stated, nothing would have been done and illegals would have been covered under the new healthcare proposals because how can one cover an immigrant that is undocumented. Duh! The bills needed to state, "illegal aliens" period. Thanks Mr. Wilson for taking one for the American taxpayer!

Someone must have missed reading the news about lawmakers pouring over the healthcare bills after the "You lie" statement. How convenient.

You don't have a valid argument saying they wouldn't have done this if it wasn't for the "heroic Wilson."
They would have done the same thing. You're just looking for another right-wing icon. At least pick someone out that respects the office of the Presidency enough to use "proper etiquette" when the President speaks to Congress.

Puhlease! Lawmakers would have reviewed the legistlation that following Monday if Wilson had not iterated his uncouth, but truthful words? Get real. I also find it very hypocritical to ask that the office of the Presidency be respected now that Obama is in office.

Obama has been lying since day one with his platform of not raising taxes on those making less than $250,000.00 a year. From cigarette taxes, to Cap and Trade and now mandating health insurance, not to mention the deficit spending that will need to be paid for. My personal budget will explode as we head towards the Wisconsin winter as th dollar continues it's downward slide towards worthlessness. Under Bush, life was more affordable and his Presidency actually did something for a people that have long been used and killed as political pawns of US Policy. Those who suffered under Bush were those who were greedy and thought they could get something for nothing. Now we are back to the same ol mentality of "screw it, it doesn't affect me" as noted by Obama refusing to add additional security to FREE eastern block countries who have long been victimized by the Soviets. Now get back in the kitchen and leave us men to discuss these topics!

I also find it very hypocritical to ask that the office of the Presidency be respected now that Obama is in office. As EVERYBODY should recall, many attacks upon Bush were regarded as being NON-AMERICAN and UNPATRIOTIC. Of course, the majority of Americans were expressing their frustration with the pathetic job that the Bushwhacker, the worst president of all-time, repeatedly did. Of course, now that Obama is in office it is acceptable to disrespect the office of the presidency and that many Republicans and the Borg honestly believe that the only thing that Obama might be useful for is shining shoes.
