To act like that people representing group of people were the only ones getting these horrible loans, and were/are the only ones losing their homes because of it is ignoring what really happened. Huh?

Wow... May of been a little drunk on that one... Let me try this again...
To act like the people on welfare or lower incomes were the only ones being offered those horrible/illegal type of loans, and are the only ones losing their homes in this disaster is ignoring what really happened. Banks and Financial institutions gave those loans out to everyone they could.

Banks and Financial institutions gave those loans out to everyone they could. I agree with that, but it was only the poor ones who couldn't support paying the loans back.

That's wrong. You know it. Over half the loans not being paid back are with people who really could afford to make the payments, but let the homes go, because they are worth so much less than what they owe on them.

Though this may be true, I tend to omit it from my arguement as it doesn't really help my cause now does it?
