Last year when Favre went the Jets his jersey sales went out of control. I say we try to get as many people as we can in the Packers Nation to go get Rodgers jersey if they don't have one. Let him know what we think about him moving on.

I think this will be interesting to watch. Buying a Favre/Jets jersey was easy because the Jets have little or no meaning to Packer fans. How many Favre lovers can actually stomach buying a Vikings jersey - no matter who's name is on it? I won't buy either one, but if I was going to buy one, it would be the Jets jersey without a doubt.

I am willing to buy Rodgers jerseys for female Packer fans from this web sie who are willing to model nothing, but the jersey in front of PC, TW, packfanforever, sharpefan, oml, GM, brewerbruce, 4forfavre, whatusaid and of course, myself.

The female Packer fans must provide all of the beer, liquor and munchies for the 3 hour feast.

I got mine last year and my wife picked up a #12 for herself just before family night.

I hope some of you show up to the Humpty-Dome with your #12 on! I have a feeling it's going to be a rowdy night. Last year (to their surprising credit) I was complimented several times for my Rodgers jersey by Viking fans at the dome. I have a feeling a less-civilized breed of Viking fan will be attending this years game and we'll be in for a long night in the stands having to listen to "stuff" being talked by "lifelong Vikings fans."

Gawd, I sincerely hope Cliffy provides Rodgers time in the pocket and we see Aaron throw for 350 yards and 3 TDs that night. That place has always been a miserable venue for young Packers' QBs. It does get loud, it does get rowdy, and that defensive front 7 is tough this year -- but knock 'em on their collective asses!

I have one already, but i think aaron will show it on the field. At this point in time, he is clearly a better quarterback to have for an entire year.

I got one a bit ago. I was waiting to debut it the opening day, but because of yesterday I had to rock it.

Funny thing is when I bought it the guy said they were going pretty quick and asked if it was in spite of Favre talking to the Vikes. I replied it wasn't but now I guess it worked out that way.

I just thought it would be cool. Show the world we are the best fans and have truly moved on.

I really hope when 4 comes out of the tunnel in Lambeau the place starts chanting "Rodgers".

I want one, but I can't afford to spend $90 on a replica much less $179 on an "On the Field" version. I have tried to get one cheap on Ebay, btu I fear for the quality...I did get a Favre in 2007 wiht the Lambeau patch and if it is a fake I can't tell!!!

I have been tossing around either getting Rodgers or Jennings....I like both a lot!

I rarely see PTI on ESPN, but I had the afternoon off as I was watching my daughter at gymnastics camp today. The gym has had ESPN on the tube throughout the last two days (I assume solely because of the Favre signing). It was interesting, to me at least. They brought up the discussion on the NFC Central and the discussion was focused on Favre and Cutler. Michael Wilbon, a Chicagoan, expanded the debate and boldly stated that Aaron Rodgers was his pre-season pick for 2009 MVP.

Now, take it for what it's worth, a talking head talking. But, I did find it nice that Rodgers is on people's radar -- even a pro-Chicago writer like Wilbon. If that did happen I think it would go a long ways and provide this fan base with an Everest-sized pedestal to preach from. All the hype surrounding the Geritol and Gerber "gunslingers" would be all for naught. Dare to dream?

I bought two 'authentic' Bart Starr jerseys on ebay for around $100.00 each. One is heavy stitched and the other is a little lighter weight. Both are outstanding quality.

I understand how expensive these jerseys are, but I would rather invest in a quality jersey that will basically last forever, then in a jersey that will fall apart in a few years.

However, for the purpose of filling Lambeau Field with Rodgers jerseys, even the $25 jerseys being sold on ebay would be worth the price.

While I hadn't been over there in awhile I decided to go to the scout site to post a similar thread in hopes of reaching some Packers fans I couldn't here. They deleted it because they have to keep all posts related to Favre in one thread.
