A Barnett tweet...

I know not everyone here is a fan of the guy, but I would say he is a pretty good example of the "Packer people" players we have on our team. Here is a tweet he posted on the 16th ... It was multiple messages so I combined it:

"I want everyone to know... I will put everything I have out there... There will not be one game that I will walk into the locker room with Anything less I may not be perfect every play but what I will do is put everything out there.. I am excited and blessed to have this.. Oppertunity live out my dream and be with a great team that has the best fans in the world!! This is all from my heart.. I have been."

"My dad who has passed away and how happy he would be to see that I am still playing football and have a lovely family.. So I never want to have Any regrets sorry for suck a long tweet but I just wanted to tell you guys what was on my heart!! Thanks for listening."

As a Packer fan, I want the best ILB to play, but I am rooting for Nick. If you twitter and don't follow him you should. He's been working hard.

I honestly have always liked Nick Barnett.

He has good speed, is a hard worker, does well in coverage and makes lots of tackles.

I know that many Packer fans do not like his size, but I honestly believe that he has a Packers heart.

In fact, Nick is one of my favorite Packers.

Here is a test, why not list how many Packer starters that you like more and who can play better/performed better then Nick Barnett?

I have always kind of tolerated Nick. His ninja move always seemed to be kind of strange and he did it at bad times. Kind like a Roy Williams first down sign when he was losing by 20 points late in the fourth quarter. But since following him on twitter...I really like him!! He is a hard worker. He has a great love for his family, teammates, us the fans and the Packers organization. He has even recently mentioned the bar incendent in an apologizing way recently.

He is definately a Packer person and I too am rooting him on!
