OK, so as most of you know, I lost my job a while back and haven't found anything yet. So in my downtime, I am finishing our basement. So today I am down there and i am nailing the studs to go on the one wall of the exercise room, and it was tight quarters where I was kneeling. So I am going to nail the end stud and I am shifting around to try and get a better angle with the nailer and when I think I have it, I fire the nail gun and the nail comes shooting out the side of the stud right into my left index finger. HOLY MOLEY did that baby hurt. WOWSERS. So needless to say, I am taking a timeout to let the bleeding and pulsating feeling die down before I go back down for more. Gotta love it.

Sounds like my experience trimming the hedges. Need help? I'm not the one to volunteer.
Hope you feel better soon!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your job and your recent injury. Another reason why drinking JD and working with power tools is a must. Think about it, IF you consumed at least 5 shots of JD prior to doing this work, you would not be filling the pain. Besides, JD is excellent at killing germs and helps to provide a positive outlook to any injury or negative situation.

Gawd! Those things can be so dangerous.
You might want to go to the Doctor and get a tetanus shot, or booster.

So the good news is that it stopped bleeding, the pain has subsided and I actually went on and got that wall done and up. Now for some beer and JD

The tetanus shot isn't for you. It's for your wife and kids. They probably want to keep you around. You owe it to them, to get it.

The most frequent form of tetanus is a generalized type in which large quantities of poison from a wound are released into the blood stream, producing a quick and severe onset of the disease. Tetanus disease has a stimulating effect on certain muscle groups. Most of the time the muscles of the jaw, face, and neck are affected first, followed by an effect on progressively more distant muscles such as the arms and legs. Doctor amoeba suggests that in lieu of a tetanus shot, hook yourself up to an IV of JD. Or you could try a JD bong. www.kossan.se/roliga-filmer/jack_daniels.htm
