Sorry I'm not active as I was in the past month or so, school is a little crazy at the moment. www.reuters.com/article/lifestyleMolt/idUSTRE53B1EG20090412?feedType=RSS&feedName=lifestyleMolt&rpc=22&sp=trueGiven the possibility would you travel and vacation in Cuba? Personally I would like to visit Cuba. Before Castro took over it was a beautiful place, not to say it isn't now, there's no way of telling. Cuba would benefit from the tourism and make them an ally with America if we played our cards right and if they leaned more towards a diplomatic country.

I agree with you Wright. I personally would love to visit Cuba, its really stupid that we can't visit a country 90 miles away from us. The Cold War is over we trade with China and Vietnam, so it makes sense we should trade with uba too..

I'd enjoy visiting Cuba. Even though I quit smoking, I'd do a real Monte Cristo while there. My last was in Spain, 11 years ago.

I have visited Cuba twice.
It is a beautiful Island and the people are some of the friendliest and most genuine I have ever met.
To be honest, it is perfect as it is. I would personally not like any more developement on the Island. It already has some top class hotels and further developement would spoil the charm and beauty of the place.

Hmmm..I am noticing a trend on this thread. All of the liberals from the Town Hall have visited or desire to visit a communist country? Hmmm..to be with their pinko brethren ?

Right wingers have flooded to China to take advantage of the slave labor there... and because we'd go to Cuba for a cigar, we're pinkos!

Low-margins, or low expectations on what we want in return?

cuba has the largeest number of vw beetles than any other car in the island, painted yellow too! i have no desire to spend any time in the island.although the crime rate is low,(he shipped most of his crimmals to florida) I would rather go back to Europe. spent 21/2 years living there. ha! have a great day!!

Yes but most likely its off limits to military personnell unless we are invading the place or in my case cleaning guns and fixing the Magazine sprinklers since I am only a E-3.

Spent a month there, bored out of my mind for 29 1/2 of those 30 days.
