good video but I call bull on this one
"by 2013 a supercomputer will be built that exceeds the computational capabilities of the human brain."
A computer is only as smart as the person making it, In this way there isn't a possible way for a computer to be as smart as a human being. Plus the fact that we only use about 4% of our brains processing power. No computer will EVER surpass the human brain in this regard.
Plus all of the "while your watching this video X amount of babies are being born in X" is a load of crap too. You can't measure that type of stuff.

I think they are saying that the computer will be able to multitask beyond the human brain? I don't really know, but I agree with you that no machine will ever do or be what our brain is. It is one of the most amazing things in this world, and we still have a long long ways to go in understanding it before we can replicate it, and even then I doubt we really can. basically, there is no terminators on the way  |
