Job hunting advice that makes sense

I feel very lucky that I'm not looking for a job today. So many people are.

I thought this was an interesting article. It pretty much tells people that there's no reason to give up on the job search. Perseverance will pay off!

Just found out that my dad, who works for a city in Ohio, is losing his city job in 2 weeks. All due to budget cuts. My mom works for the city as well and although I feel confident the will be okay, it's still worrisome.

EDIT: By the way, indeed.com is a great resource while looking for a job. It searches ANYTHING.
