Paul Harvey was always one of my favorites. I enjoyed listening to him for forty years. He had a special edge on news, and his "The Rest of The Story" was educational, and gave credit to a lot of people who weren't well known, but should have been. He was 90. He will be missed. www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=275845&src=109

I am rather surprised this thread didn't get more responses..... I can remember as a kid listening to Paul Harvey on the radio in the car with my Dad..... He always had one of those voices that just drew you in.... When I went on the road I didn't get to hear him often and when I came back some 15 years later I was pleasantly surprised to hear his voice still on the radio.
He was a voice that reminds me of simpler and better times (at least in my humble opinion)..... The radio will never be the same......

I can't say I was a listener. Harvey was a radio icon and will be missed.

I was an avid Paul Harvey listener. I started listening to him when I was at my baby sitters. Always loved his "rest of the story" segments and listened to him whenver or wherever I could. If Paul Havey came on the radio, the radio was turned up.
He will be missed.
