I'll go ahead and get this started.
Probably the greatest graphic novel of all time. Written by the great Alan Moore. I was pretty nervous about this because if you are familar with the Watchmen at all then you know how complex of a book it is. In fact there is a comic inside the comic (Tales of the Black Freighter). That however won't be in the movie, I believe it will be on the DVD. I heard some of the changes, but I am still pretty excited about this. I think it can be done as well as it can, and it should be good.
I still urge anyone interested to read this. If you ever wanted to read one graphic novel this is the one. It is actual required reading in some college lit classes from what I have heard.
Here is another clip from the movie if you want to see it.
3.06.09 It is going to be amazing.

I'm wondering if I should see this. I know nothing about the book.
After watching the vids it looks pretty cool.
I have some movie passes I'm saving, might be a good movie to bust em' out on.

You should see it yes, but someday read the book too. Its really not a comic. It is a book.

Someone promised me that I could borrow his copy of Watchmen but he decided he was a big liar. I bought it the other day and so far it's a good read.
I saw that NBS video a few weeks ago and it blew my mind. I was watching it the other day and thought for sure it was a real video, I couldn't believe I went through my whole life not knowing about a superhuman like this. Needless to say, I'm a ham and egger.

I have a hard time watching the comic book movies - especially the DC movies. I could care less about Spiderman (what a hack), The Hulk, Iron Man and all the Marvel movies. I did find it interesting the S.H.I.E.L.D. point of The Hulk and Iron Man - that should be cool. I wish the Superman Returns movie did a lot better than it did but the recent Batman movies have been blockbusters so hopefully that will jumpstart DC movies again. We can't have Catwoman movies or anything like that. Constantine was an awesome movie by DC too.
Marvel seems to be on the right track with the films but hopefully The Dark Knight and WATCHMEN will get DC on that track.

Your Spider-Man shot is noted, and I am going to punch you in the kidney. Anyways, a lot of the movies being bad had to do with studios. The new Hulk and Iron Man was fantastic, and they were because they were made by Marvel Studios, who know how to make a mass appealing movie, but stay true. When movies like X-men (Fox) and Spider-Man (Sony) were made the studio could always change things. Like how even though in the first one MJ was a combination of Gwen Stacey she came out of nowhere in the third one for absolutely no reason. The reason Venom was rushed, the reason Peter was dancing? And of course the organic web shooter which was huge when the first one was coming out Croxeye, there is no way the movie will be able to touch the graphic novel. I am sure it will be awesome, and I am really excited to see it but I go into a movie looking at it like this. Just like V for vendetta will never touch the graphic novel. It was still a really good movie. I try to take Super Hero movies as they are, but Spider-Man 3 was the most upsetting thing I ever saw. I am so alienated by it I am upset Sony bought the rights for 4,5, and 6. X-3 was really bad too.

You can't make a good film without the right director too. That's what happened with the third X-Men movie, Bryan Singer thought that Superman was going to be a better hit for him.
Meanie you just need to give up on Spiderman, he's not a practical superhero anyways.
