Just got in from blowing snow a little while ago now I'm going to watch numbers. The past few weeks have been pretty busy. Except for a party tomorrow night it's pretty quiet. Just wondering what others have planned?

Not much here. Our Christmas vacation from school is winding down - classes start again on Monday. We just got back from the beach on Wednesday and have been intentionally taking it pretty easy since then.  Dinner with a group of friends last night, tonight it's just us, watching a movie. |

Mag are the beaches in Indo as sweet as they say? Pics would rock if you had time. Myself not up to much, chillin'. I got my iPhone on Friday activated it today. The thing is sweet. |

The beaches themselves are great. Unfortunately, many of them have too many signs of typical 3rd-worldness developing world-ness around them - trash, crappy hotels, not many good restaurants, etc. But one things you can always count on - the fresh seafood is unbelievable. This time we were at one of Java's south beach towns, Pangandaran. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pangandaran. We drove there by car in about 5 hours. The best and cleanest beaches are on other islands - Bali, of course, and the myriad other small islands around it are some of the most pristine. I'll post some pictures soon. |

Pangandaran looks nice.
The land and ocean look like there on the same plain(one isn't higher than the other). Very cool, a little scary.
Do they have any black sand beaches in Indo?
