The Burlington Liars Club bestowed its top award Monday for this line: "My grandson is the most persuasive liar I have ever met. By the time he was 2 years old he could dirty his diaper and make his mother believe someone else had done it."www.jsonline.com/news/wisconsin/37120694.htmlPretty good one. I never tell lies so I couldn't enter. I'm sure some of you guys have told a few whoppers.

EVERYONE lies bap. I'm sure you've told a few little white lies in your day. Even Sister Simplice, in Les Miserables, who had never lied in her life up to the time of the story, lied.

I'm not EVERYONE. I'm the ONLY ONE. The sooner you realize that the better off you'll be.

I put a fib and white lie in the same category. That being said I don't lie but may intentionally leave out important facts.

Ah... yes. The old "need to know" approach. If she thought you should know it, she would have told you! That's one my wife uses. I'll say, "Why didn't you tell me about......?" She smiles, and says; "If I thought it was important for you to know, I would have told you. Any questions?" That one works best just before she makes me a great meal!
