Looking to make your chili this week Bap. Does anyone have any substitutions for red California Firenze peppers? The mid-south does not have the best variety of peppers.

I didn't find any the last time I made it. I just substituted another red chili; I think it was a Cuban chili. Just use whatever combination of chilis you want. If you like it spicier use hotter chilis.
Good luck. It took a few years to develop but it's worth it.
