Tomorrow I'll start taking down the Christmas decorations. I usually start after attending church on Epiphany. Wondering when others start taking them down.
I will keep a few snowmen around until the end of January.

I put nothing up this year.
If we had a real tree we'd get it out of the house a few days after Christmas. With our fake tree I've been know to keep it up until February, not because of laziness.
People are slowly starting to take down there stuff out here(thank god). Some people have so much sh.. I mean crap you can't even see the house. The inflatable decorations are real popular here, makes me wish I had a BB gun LOL. Today I saw Christmas trees are out at curbs.
Where I used to live the people across from us never took there Christmas decorations down. Icicle lights and wreaths up in summer WTF lazy mofo. Christmas lights become the outdoor lighting in the summer. BLA!

I took mine down yesterday.... The 4 year old will be Po'ed when he stays Monday Night...
My Dad one year when I was away wanted to just put a tarp over the tree in the corner and leave it there all year.... Mom said..... Ah No.....
I didn't put up the outside lights this year, but in past they would stay up until spring

Ours comes down tomorrow as well. We had planned on doing it before New Years, but didn't. It just seemed nice having the tree up, and since it's artificial, no worries about fire.

Update: The angel tree and all the decorations in the living room/dining room are packed up.
First time I tried one of those tree bags. Very few needles on the floor. Blew off once I got it outside but it was only a buck. Worth the dollar.
The decorations are also down in the kitchen. Had to light a few candles tonight. Looks somewhat empty. Found some gingerbread ornaments that I forgot to put up. Oh well, next years another year.
So far I've packed away 5 containers of decorations.

"So far I've packed away 5 containers of decorations." WOW. Great Christmas spirit. I put away all of my Christmas decorations in ONE box. Since I was in Salem, VA, during part of the holidays, my decorations were much more limited. The wreath on the front door will stay up throughout the NFL playoffs. I remember hanging a 'Bears still suck' poster beneath the wreath on my front door throughout the playoffs after the packers lost to the Bears on Christmas day, a few years ago.

We didn't take them down. I guess I'm going to have to do them tomorrow. Tomorrow night, dinner is different. Chili in bread bowls.

We didn't do anything this year either. We had a tree, but that was about it. It really didn't feel like a Christmas this year to be honest.

Just about to the end. The "train tree" came down as well as all the decorations in the office, bedrooms, bathrooms, and a few from outside. Six containers today as well as the tree and train box.
All that's left is the basement and a few more things from outside which may have to wait until more snow melts.
I had great timing again this year. Garbage came through and picked up the tree I took down yesterday. Three years in a row I've had that luck.

Kids go back to school tomorrow so that is my time to put the decor away. Just hoping the freezing rain is gone, so I can get to the outside stuff too.
This is the time of year, I want to be Samantha from Bewitched and just wiggle my nose and watch all of it just magically go back into storage.
