Very, very sad. What a terrible way to start off the New Year. My best to the Travolta family. The 16-year-old son of actors John Travolta and Kelly Preston died Friday morning after suffering a seizure while vacationing with his family in the Bahamas, Travolta's attorney told CNN. Bahamian police said a caretaker at the West End resort where the Travoltas were vacationing found the teenager unconscious in the bathroom. Jett Travolta was taken by ambulance to Rand Memorial Hospital in Freeport and was pronounced dead on arrival, police said. iReport.com: Can you relate to the loss of a child? Yes it is sad. It sounds that Jett had some medical issues. Can't remember where I heard or read but it appears that he might have been autistic but parents said it was a blood issue. I wonder if their belief in scientology complicated his diagnosis.

I wonder if their belief in scientology complicated his diagnosis. Don't know a lot about Kawasaki's disease, but it wouldn't seem like that a blood issue would cause the type of seizures he was having, but maybe. It is awful having a child who has seizures and no matter what you do, you can't get rid of them. Such a helpless feeling for the parents. Don't agree with scientology but can't even imagine losing a child.
