Very sad indeed.
Interesting gap in age. I wonder whether she was pregnant because based on her weight and age, it was pretty stupid to propose to somebody in a potentially risky area.

Can anyone say mail order bride? Even if that's not exactly what it is, young women from Asian countries marrying old guys from the US happens all the time. It's an easy way for them to get a better life in America. Then once they're here, using their husband's money to send for the rest of their family....I met a woman on the plane last summer that was going to do just that. She was 24, from the Philippines, traveling to Houston to marry a guy in his 50's. She'd only met him once other than on the internet. She as much as admitted it was just so her whole family could eventually come and join her. |
