Bart Starr, one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, and one of the best players ever to don the Green and Gold, has died at age 85. The leader of the Pack during the Lombardi dynasty, Starr was Rodgers before Rodgers,in terms of his playmaking ability, and Favre before Favre,in terms of being the symbol of the team, not just to Packers fan, but the league at large. Starr also coached the Packers for 9 seasons, putting him behind only Curly Lambeau and Mike McCarthy in terms of tenure with the team. I was too young to have seen Starr play or coach, the first Packers coach I remember was Lindy Infante. RIP Bart, say hi to Vince for us.
