two long time packers signed contracts with new teams this week, Clay Matthews signed a 2 year deal with the La rams, and Randall cobb signed a 1 year deal with the Cowboys. Matthews, who had only 3.5 sacks last year, leaves the Packers as the teams all time sacks leaders with 83.5, while Cobb caught 41 Tds and 470 passes for 5524 yards, the 47o catches are 6th most in Packers history.

I feel good about Cobb leaving in that he just could not play enough to earn his 10 million a season, Plus he was to be a punt returner but they stopped that really to maybe lessen his impact from injury and let him be a slant receiver and a big play guy. That also failed. I wish him well he is a class person. CM3, i see went to a SB contender, a very good one really. I wish he could have stayed at least one more year with the revamping Packers. another class player hope he earns another SB ring if the Packers do not get there first.

I think CM3 got a great break by moving to the Rams. The system and the players on there defense can help him play better than with the Pack the last few years, I can see him having a good year this season.
