I can't help but notice that banks are extremely quick in taking money from your account when you make a purchase, or pay a bill. But, when it comes to transferring money from one bank to another, they turn it into a nightmare. You wait, and wait, and wait.... and wait....
We're in the process of closing on a home down here in South Texas, and didn't want to sell the place we're in, until after we are settled in the new place. So, we decided to transfer money from an account in one bank to another. But... and I say but... down here in South Texas, I think they believe everyone is a money launderer, and it takes forever.
We've been waiting for over a week for the transaction to be completed, because we need to issue cashiers checks to pay it off. Now we wait, and wait, and wait....
We were set for closing last Friday, then Saturday, now today, but in all honesty, I doubt the money will be transferred on time, for us to complete the transaction today.
I sure as hell hope I don't have to go past tomorrow! I'm getting extremely impatient.

I had a electric company threaten to turn of the power because they were short 5 cents. Then I found out it was there very own people who made the mistake. I wonder how much was made by people not fighting them and just paying the 5 cents?
