New front office. Probably a new idea on what's needed most. Will they go with need, or best player available? It's pretty much up in the air at this point.
My feel is that they will take an edge rusher, like Matthews, with that 14th pick, as long as there's one with a "can't miss" tag on him. But, above all, no matter who they pick, and for what position, the player has to contribute this year, and be a star of the future. We can't afford a whiff.
Key and Chubb are the first two guys that come to mind. Chubb would be a solid defensive lineman, especially if we end up doing more 4-3. Key would be an even better fit, because he would be the edge rusher we need.
That said, watch them take a DB, or offensive lineman. If the right guy is available there, it might happen. We need tackles, and big/quick corners. We will probably be looking at replacing Morgan Barnett as well.

I do not see the Packers using more 4-3 vs 3-4, really though those both are just the "base" and they play much more nickel.dime groups today. Just to much on the passing game They need taller faster secondary to keep up with the trend of the league. We really need an impact edge rusher. I like Lowey for his athletic ability and foot work along with that tall 294 lbs body of work I hope they get a top TE if any in the draft, also work hard on the defense and last find 2 players that they can get late in the draft or FA in receiver.

Good points. It's hard to say where it goes with Pettine at this point. He's supposed to be a solid defensive coach, but I don't know enough about him to comment. I guess we'll start to see how the picture comes together as they decide who gets offers and who is let go through FA. At this point, really up in the air.

well we did pick up a tall good TE before the draft. Next they need the wr that can be a real number one, fast tall with the good hands, Adams i still am not sold on. We shall see what he does this year True number one should be able to ave plus 15 per catch and not drop so many passes and he should be in double digit figures on TD,s. this team has no speed on offense today is the day i am prepping for tonight right now. Hope all you Packer fans have a great night tonight and the following days! Go Pack Go!

Well We moved down then back up, and picked up Louisville CB Jaire Alexander. Pretty short at just over 5'10, but he has a sub 4.4 40 so he's got speed.

My final grade is a B-. too many ifs with the draft picks. Health,, If they can and then IF they perform at the next level/ Long snapper, Punter, WR got 3 that is good but again, can the Pack get at least 3 starters out of the bunch?

Lots of people writing that the Punter the Pack drafted will be a bust , because of his wobbly type kicks with short hang time? Does anyone have any video or something that I could see or read that has something about this punter?

his hang time is very good. ave around 4.8 seconds, he just needs to be spot on with his short directional punts, hard to do. But that is what he gets paid for.
