should a country wait until another aggressive country develops weapons to equal the democratic more social moral standards and then be equal military or should they use all they have to stop that country from causing more death and pain all over the world sooner than later?

Good question. I don't know the answer. But I do know that I don't want to see young people thrown into a war that's meaningless, and does nothing but line the pockets of the wealthy, who don't even have skin in the game.
I served in combat, and one of my sons served in combat. It's time for those who would be hawks on war to send their children to fight the war.

I agree 100% all those elected people NEED to serve at least two years in the military. AND NOT at home on a base, they need to go where the CONFLICT in the world is, the very same place they vote to send our youth and lifers to go so should they up front and in the trenches.
