Talk about the NFc title game here. Me I'm pinching myself. I think we win Sunday and head to Houston.

AS of today not only is Nelson unable to practice but Adams is not as well. If we cannot go with BOTH Nelson and Adams, that is one weak core remaining, That means they would go with the likes of Cobb, Allison,Montgomery, and leave them with Davis and Janis. then we would be forced to use Christine Michael at rb all the time almost. Thank goodness the TE Cook seems able to play. I do not even want to go to the defensive side with injuries.

UPDATE, Nelson tried, but no word about his ribs, Adams is still unable and also Allison is a big "IF" to play. That leaves us with the likes of Cobb, Davis and Janis( Only if MM feels He can play ST's and receiver with his still injured Quad) If Janis cannot go both on ST and As a receiver, that narrows it down to Cobb, Davis, and If they do nor use Monty to much at running back him as the third receiver. Cook and Rodgers would be the TE;s and C. Michael would be the running back, and he is not a three down back, he has only one speed and would not fair well if used on all three downs. The offense is REALLY in a bind this week.

Allison and Adams should be able to play. Nelson and Burnett are unlikely to play. Both would be able to play if it was next week. Winning this game will give us two weeks for everyone to heal.

The Packers are in trouble with three top receivers pretty well considered out of it for Sunday. If they win this one, it's simply because Rodgers is so damned good that he'll elevate guys play to something far beyond what they're really capable of. But, when you have Rodgers, that's always a possibility. He's that good.
I picked the Cowboys to win last week. I thought they should have won because of all the Packer injuries. I was wrong, and thankful for it. Now I'm faced with one big question. Can Rodgers, with one hand tied behind his back, out play two top running backs, a QB whose MVP year was well earned, and a WR who is one of the best in the history of the game?
That's a tall order. Less injuries, I'd go with the Packers.
Falcons 38 Packers 24
We're just too banged up to have a chance at this one. If we win it, I'll be one of the first people in line to say that I'm elated to be wrong.

with Tretter getting the knife this Friday, the Pack will bring up maybe one receiver from the PS. lets hope they do not need to. I do not see how Nelson can be effective. but who knows? I like the Packers shot this week, But lets even forget the injuries right now, Aaron Rodgers has the bug, and Crosby . along with Nelson and 5 others.(CHEST COLD) IF Rodgers runs out of gas, i understand , i have been slowed by this same illness running amuck in the country. CM3 is playing healthier, Peppers is determined, Perry is playing better each of the last three games, the inside linebackers are playing better with health. We need Burnett to play Since we the Packer fans have gone this far with the Pack when hardly any others thought we had a chance, I am going with the Packers to make it to the big game. I think when we lost 32-31 last time we could have won, I am going with the Pack Packers-38 Falcons-34

Hope that i am wrong, but before Crosby tried the kick i felt in my stomach. an huge pain, and i think by him missing it it means that the Packers run is going to end today. I still have hope, but sometimes it is just a feeling that leads me to see what is going to happen. we are a tired team and cannot also afford any more injuries. but i think we are done today. AGAIN, i hope i am wrong this team has come so far this year i just do not want it all to be gone by not getting into the SB. i

yep were done, we had 2 shots at points and now Rip fumbles, just not going our way, I felt it from the start. It would indeed take a Miracle for us to pull this one out.

This game is more proof that MM needs to do something to improve the Defense. I am not a Capers fan. How many years are we going to get kicked out of the playoffs because our D is so lousy? Same story every year. Our offense wasn't much better, but it wouldn't have mattered. Atlanta could have put up 60 against us if they needed to. I think we all knew deep down that our defense was going to be the reason we would not win a SB this year. Some of those injuries looked like guys that didn't even want to be playing to me.

I am not a Capers man either, Why? because he has been here for a long time and instead of him making adjustments to the defensive scheme year after year he gets players from TT that do not fit Capers style/scheme and tries to make his way work, we have had some really good players and they helped his style a little, but if he would have taken the players given him and changed his way to fit the players,,, the defense would have been better, instead he took players not suited for his scheme and tried to change them to fit, well we see where that has gotten our defense.

The defense needs to be totally reworked. It has to start with coaches, and a revamp as to how the 3-4 defense is employed. I don't see that happening with the guys we have coaching defense.
I have a hunch Clements left because of differences with McC. They could no longer work together. McC humiliated him last year, pulling the play calling duties away.
