I think the Packers lose big this week on the road. Our defense is going to be majorly exposed this week and the Falcons are going to put up some big points. I predict a blowout!

I think we get it handed to us too. The Falcons give up a lot of points, but they also know how to score. I think Julio Jones and Davonte Freeman devastate our defense, making us realize there are some serious problems out there.

I am going with the Packers, I think with two rbs seemly healthy and the passing game getting better our defense will slow the run game enough to allow our depleated secondary fewer big plays. I think that we win in the 4th quarter by finishing strong while the Falcons fade again in the 4th like have been doing for 2 years now. Packers--34 Falcons--31

What's made me laugh about this season is how well the ground work has already been laid to explain away the failures because of injuries. No coach is better at it than McCarthy. He uses reverse psychology to suck people in, and make them believe it's not coaching, it's the fact that injuries held them back, nothing more.
I'm not as forgiving on this front to be honest. Especially when I see so many injuries, like hamstrings, and biceps, which are usually contributed to by the fact that a player has overly chiseled his biceps or thighs, and they aren't flexible enough to handle the torque put on them. I've always been a proponent for supple muscle toning, not brick hard muscles that don't stretch.

looks like Monty and Cobb will not play. That leaves us with Adams, nelson, Janis, Davis,, and Allison. no running backs really. One still has an injured hand and the other has just got here for the few days.

Lots of early good play, lots of late game failures. It's pretty much the same thing game after game, regardless of who plays. The only thing you can see that's consistent is that they lose their step in the second half.
There's little doubt in my mind that the Packers are on the outside looking in this year. It's over as far as a great run at the playoffs. If they do make it, they'll be a one and done team I'm afraid. We can't expect miracles from this team. The leadership just isn't there on the sidelines, and the decisions, prior to the season, of keeping two RBs was irresponsible.

Same story different year. I'm very tired of a Capers run defense blowing games against good teams. We'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

next game at home against the Colts,, should win that one, then the remaining month of NOV. are away games. Should be fun!

If they play poorly against the Colts, they're going to be booed out of Lambeau. People aren't accepting the McCarthy excuses any longer.
