Now the Packers QB that showed some promise is going to the browns. I feel bad for him in a way, the team is not very good., But he will make them better, hope he plays well and does not get injured. I liked him over Hundley even when he played.

I liked him too. I knew someone would grab him. I have no idea why we let him go. He showed a ton of potential.

Pure need in position some times or say he is as talented as a DB, the Packers do not like to keep more than 2 active QB,s and one PS. they tried to hide him but his talent was to great to NOT get taken by a club in need of a back up or in the Browns case a healthy QB. The Saints signed Callahan first and then the browns got him I think. Anyway, I hope he can stay healthy and play well enough for any team in the NFL to give him a shot. I think he deserves it.

McCarthy & Thompson have become too cocky in their belief that as long as they have a moderately good season, they are automatically forgiven if the season disappears into a sink hole. They accept no responsibility for the season ending poorly. It's like they believe their jobs are protected by Teflon.
A lot of that comes from the fact that we once again have too many fans like we had in the 70s & 80s, who don't realize that the objective in the game is to win.
I guess I'm tired of "participation ribbons" being handed out to everyone, at every age, just because they showed up.
