I believe that injuries are a result of non-contact practices, and not enough contact practice. When you get used to taking hits at a lower level, you are preparing for games. You learn to protect your body.
That may not seem important, but having played the game quite a bit, I realized the urgency of playing smart, and didn't overplay each play because I didn't know better.
Today's game is breeding serious injuries.

Poor Rodgers, now some media guy is telling the world about Rodgers personal life. Now he is not speaking or seen his family for 2 years, he says if they wish to watch a Packer game they can go but the tickets themselves. Finley is not being kind to him. His brother is not. I feel the pain for the man. To much stress for too long can drive one mad or kill you.

We make our own bed, then have to sleep in it.... so the old sage goes. In Rodgers case, it seems like there's a lot of things that point towards him being less than the friendly guy on the team. In all honesty, I think the hype on teams about everyone pulling together is bull anyhow. I think there are groups, and they work together, to keep each other on the team.
When an RB, or QB, buys the entire offensive line expensive presents, it's not because they love them, but because they did a great job. A lot of that is make up for being a bit arrogant in the first place.

The media today prints way to many inaccurate stories. WAY to Many. They type anything to get readership to keep a job. true or false they do not care. They love to omit parts of a statement that would make the statement different but cause people to increase there interest.

To some degree, it's true. The internet created that. But I don't believe it's as pronounced as it is in politics. The problem is, people end up convinced it is, because of the stink coming from politics. In sports, it's more of an airing of truths that were hidden away before because people performed at high levels. As soon as people find out the prima donna has feet of clay, they go after them big time. Usually because they've been slighted when it comes to an interview, or some other rebuff.
