That defense sure looks tough. If Bradford can stay healthy, they might just have enough to become the favorite in the NFC. I think losing AP was a blessing in disguise (for them).

I think they're a better team with Bradford. When he gets more time with the guys out there, he's going to be even better. What bothers me is that he's already getting better results out of a bunch of guys who wouldn't make other teams, than the Packers get with stars. Don't make sense!
I want to see two more games with Bradford before I pass judgment, but in all honesty, he's looking like the guy who can take them a couple rounds into the playoff. I'll revisit this thought in a couple games.

You have to give their front office credit. With all of the injuries they've had, they are not shy about bringing in other players. You never see that in GB. TT would have never brought in a Bradford or Jake Long. They are doing everything the can to win it all this year. Sad part is they are better off without Bridgewater and Peterson.

I think the Vikings found the concept of "team." Peterson and Bridgewater were automatically given the reins to be the keys to the whole thing. Now everyone has to step up and do their part.
What's amazing is when I look around the league and see what's happening with the Vikings, and the Patriots, and see teams winning with a replacement QB. In the Patriots case, they won 3 deep at QB.
I hate to think what would happen to the Packers if we needed to go to our back up. We are not a good "team."

I agree, we are not and it all has to do with leadership.

I think the Vikes are a very total team this year. The defense is solid, and the Special teams is good, Bradford is the best QB they have had in a while, The offensive line is a little weak, they signed J Long to help, If he has anything left in him he will help a lot. The Vikings will be the leaders and the Packers will be trying to catch up all year. Might come down to the last game of the season

The thing that seems unique about the Vikings is the coaching. It's been a while since someone who was a top coach was in control. Zimmer has gained that control, and his plans are working great.
I wonder if Zimmer didn't offer a sigh of relief when Bridgewater went down and they went after Bradford. That may have been one of the best decisions made in Minnesota in two decades.
