Ok today is it! Does anyone feel a certain player that may become a surprise cut? or how about a long shot to make the cut? I think Callahan goes to the Practice aquad. I really like him him but he needs work of course. I actually like the TE set this year, I think it is Cook,Rodgers, Perrilo. I think they go with the min in running backs Lacey, Starks, and FB Rip. then they keep one running back on the Practice S. St teams is in trouble a bit, the best two gunners will not play I think. Although they think Janis can play with the club hand. I am not sure about that.Looks like Nelson, Cobb, Adams, Abbs. Monty, two recievers on P.S> maybe Davis on IR, TT pleads with Raji, to come back,,, Barclay makes the team why??? well have at it, jump in and list the whole team roster or just name a few players just have fun with your opinions!!

I cannot fathom why they cut Sitton !!!! his back must be horrible. I am in shock. Bradford went to the Vikes from Philly, Bridgewatr must have really big time damage in his knee. did I read that right? plus a 4th as well Eagles Viking's are nuts. Barrington and Bradford were let go.

I don't think it was a stretch, cutting Sitton. If you have a guy whose ability to be as good as Sitton in one year, and you know Sitton is going to get big bucks on FA after this year, you look at the future, not just tomorrow morning. Add in Sitton's health issues, and you've got the chance of a perfect storm, and no cap room to wiggle out.
Also remember that a lot of pretty good guards are out there that can play the game.
Now, add in this scenario. You need a spot for Linley if you hope to keep him. You need a spot for Tretter, if you hope to keep him. You have to figure that they really think they have some pretty good depth on the line, and quite honestly, he was expendable. They like Barclay a lot. I don't. Was no longer high on Sitton either. Watched Tretter become the best O-lineman on the team, which I said long before this season was even a thought.
Barrington wasn't that good. I warned that it was all hype. He was another Capers fall guy for failure at linebacker. He's looking for a guy who runs a 4.3 forty, is 6-8, and weighs 285#. Good luck with that one coaches.
