The Court of Appeals got it right. He deserves to be suspended. Not just for the deflated balls, but because he summarily destroyed what should have been evidence pertinent to the case itself. Apparently, he figured he was above the law, and the owner - Kraft - figured he could "schmooze" the Commish into just saying he shouldn't do it again.
The loss of picks and 4 games on the pines should send them a message. You cheat, get caught, you pay dearly.

I see there's a lot of people out there saying that the decision was wrong. I guess that points out just how far our system has gone. We no longer consider following the rules essential. People want to set their own rules.
Had Brady gotten away with this, there would have been an end to all discipline, including that for drugs, or even criminal actions. The league would have been forced into a defensive position because of the bargaining agreement.
At least we found out the Commish can take action, when necessary.
