According to reports, James Starks has signed a 2-year contract for $6 mill. Rumor has it both New England and Miami were trying to sign him. Good to have him stay home! He might end up our #1 RB this year, depending on Lacy's off-season.
So far I'm not complaining about how we're getting players signed. No wasted money, and no panic signings. That's what makes things hum along.

It was a wise choice to get him signed in my thoughts. He averaged 5,5 yards, can catch the ball, and is an ok blocker., but that is not what they use him for, he is a good change from a one step hit the hole hard running back, he has the twerk in his shoulders and burst to his legs to if getting past the LOS. he can make some big gains. If Lacy still will not produce(which is now a guessing game, ) I would draft another big back like lacy and then blend Him in with Starks, That would make a good 1-2 punch at RB.

I see them looking at a reach in the 6th or 7th round. But, they could invest one of the extra picks in the 4th, to nab an RB, if there's one that fits in that high.

Starks stats, to see he could be a starter. his health is what used to hold him back, and then last season he had as many fumbles(5) as he did his entire career for the packers. His blocking was good, allowed NO SACKS , his 11.37 yards after the catch was an NFL leader last year. he tied Running backs with the most 25 yards catches in the league (4). He was one of only five rbs, to have 600 yards plus rushing and 390 plus yards catching.
