Regardless of injuries, the one constant there was, when he was healthy, was B.J. clogging up running holes in the line, and making a push at the QB. Although he wasn't a flashy player, he could "git 'er done." He will be missed. His statement, in making his decision, was classy. He even showed how much the Packers, and their history, meant to him over the years. I also agree with him that if you're not healthy, you can't really do your job in the NFL. He couldn't accept not doing it, in himself. This is someone who respects the game. No matter what he does, I think he's going to be successful. If he does come back, in 2017, I hope it's playing for the green & gold, and he reminds everyone why he was that first round pick so many years ago. B.J. Raji leaving

He was offered a real good contract, so him leaving involved, his health, and his family health, He may come back sooner than later. But, can the Packers just not make a big move for defensive linemen this draft and then bring Raji back to play? I think not. (unless of course the drafted players do not perform well. But this draft is DEEP with defensive line players I wish him well.
