seems that MM is really ticked of with Lacy. he has given him a demand that he needs to lose 'THIRTY POUNDS" his playing weight is 230-238. he is reported to be in the top end of 267 lbs. gee, most of all of us fans were writing and saying he looked "big" and was not hitting the gap or hole with any quickness. He was always having trouble making those plant and cut moves and he once leaning forward went down quick. he was indeed SLOW I want to know is ,, WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO TELL HIM COACHES?;

Goes without saying that McC doesn't really have a handle on controlling his players. Too bad. When he's gone they can rebuild. By then, the Rodgers era will have passed and we'll be in garbageville.

either that is part of it, or he does not listen to his coaches. I think that it does have some merit , MM let a player go out right that was becoming good friends with lacy. He must have seen a bad influence and thought if he got rid of him maybe Lacy would see the light and become committed once again. He did let him go early and then watched and waited for lacy to respond, When he did not, he then gave him a final request that he lose thirty pounds or endanger himself with a loss of Job with the packers. "You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink"

McC dumped Lacey's running mate because he didn't have enough guts to dump Lacey. That's my opinion, but I could be wrong. He wouldn't have had him to blame for the demise of the running game.
Let's see... Don't have a big, tall WR. That was the problem with the passing game. Lacey out of shape. The problem with the running game. Injuries on the offensive line.... that's the icing on the cake.
"Not my fault!" McC can say, while saying it's all his fault.

He did let people know that the two rbs were together a number of times and both were late for meetings and for therapy , and it was because the two were going places together. he did nip that early, but like i said many other things have been not working well and MM just was so slow to react.(T>T> as well made no moves) I stand pat on the fact that.T. M.M. and the staff di not admit to making judgement mistakes and also did not even TRY to use the entire roster when they started to play poorly. They all waited to long to make moves and adjustments. I Know if it were me Adams would have been sitting on the bench long time ago, and the other roster recievers would have been given an equal shot to outplay Adams. (which would have been easy)

what Lacy really needs is a person(s) that will put him on a diet and a friend that will be around to do things other than eat, play video and have a few beers in Green Bay. STAY ACTIVE

In other words, the only way Lacy will be a decent NFL RB is if someone baby sits him, decides what he can and can't eat. This tells me he's a child, and quite honestly, if he can't see that several million dollars a year for being in shape to play is worth it, then I don't know what to say.
In my opinion, he's not that far from doing something real stupid that gets him dumped anyway. A guy with this little self-discipline has to be living on the edge in choosing friends. My theory? Trade him or cut him. Just get rid of him. He's a sore spot to the team.

if he can't see that several million dollars a year for being in shape to play is worth it, then I don't know what to say. In the Navy they allowed one hour of our work day to be used to work out. We were all over that! If I'm getting paid to stay in shape now, man I'd be all over that. TW, young men these days (especially in this day and age of video gaming) often don't mature until they're in their mid-twenties. I wouldn't be surprised if Lacy suddenly "gets it"! Hopefully it's this year.

I agree Oakleaf. I find it totally disappointing that so many lack the dedication to do the best they can, no matter what the occasion. I hope you're right on him getting the message. I'm so tired of seeing kids like Johnny Football totally destroying themselves because of their lack of self control, discipline.
Let's hope Lacy gets the message. He was part of our problem this past season.

It appears Lacy has taken the threats against his career seriously. If the information we've been hearing is true, he should come back for the OTAs looking a lot better than he did, when he left camp at the end of the season. Now it's up to him to prove that he really intends being the player he can be, not what he's been.
I saw where the Texans parted with Foster. There's no love for an RB who can't get it done any longer. Their careers are shorter, and they either continue to thrive at the top or end up out of a job.

I hope so. He won't get another shot from Thompson or McCarthy.
