I was thinking after we tied the game - I would love to see us go for two to either win or lose the game. I'm not second guessing the coaches on this one. We did have the momentum and they had to like our chances in OT.
If you go for 2 and not make it I'm sure MM gets blasted by the Monday AM quarterbacks.

I thought about it too. They had the Cards on the ropes. They had a good chance of making it. If you don't make it, everyone says you're a putz for not going into OT. You go into OT, and lose like we did, and you're a putz for blowing it. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
I'm not sold on McCarthy's coaching, but this one no matter what, it would be second guessed.

you go for the %. That means to kick the extra point at that ne distance, it is made 93% of the time. if you go for the 2 points, it is made at 46% of the time. The Head coaches in the league prefer to go into overtime than take such a shot against the odds
