Sign Julius Peppers to another 2 year contract. The guy did a fantastic job for the Packers, and from what I've seen, hasn't lost a step.
Priority #2 would be to shore up the offensive line by getting a can't miss left tackle, if there's one out there, when we pick, or through free agency.
I don't like the way McCarthy is dissing his WRs and Rodgers at TE. He's looking for excuses for poor coaching. With Nelson back next year, and the wealth of guys they have already signed, they should be pretty solid. That is, if there's an offensive line that back block anyone, to insure Rodgers has time to pass.
Some people believe our defensive line was the best part of our team this past year. I can't say I agree, nor disagree. I think it improved dramatically, but now I see most of the guys who added the punch we needed, about to leave via free agency. Apparently the only year they felt required to work hard was the contract year, because most of them were just barely acceptable the year before.
Inside linebacker is a must. We need someone to play beside Ryan, who is super fast, and can be the rabbit covering WRs if needed. Also has to be strong, and big, kind of like a large WR. Calvin Johnson type comes to mind.
TE - We need someone to work with Rodgers and spell him. I think Rodgers did a great job but we need one more guy.
I don't doubt they plan on releasing Kuhn. Money is the issue. They'll keep the kid that only played special teams. I don't agree with this decision if they go this way. I think Aaron said it best. The offense works better with Kuhn on the field. Now, if that sunk into McCarthy's head.... I doubt it.
Defensive backs? We should be fine for another year. Need to see who jumps on free agency to make a determination where to go with our picks.
This is one year I wish Thompson would head into free agency and grab some people.

MM fired the TE's coach and Sam gash the rb coach. He just hi new TE coach from the Cleveland browns staff. Nice Italian man. He did a good job with TE Cammron who went to the Dolphins. I think he is an upgrade from Font. Peppers stll has one year remaining on his recent two year deal . Raji is got a good shot at leaving. Why? i think because he is over 0 and he will want a longer contract with money. I think that Pennel wil be theWay TT goes keeping him for less money(he has improved a great deal and is big guy. ) If they let Raji go, they could keep Guion for less . though choice here. I like Raji when he plays NT but his just ave player, BUT still big guys like him ae hard to find that can play as well as he did. I hope Kuhn stays. Offensive lie TT alwaysdrafts a lineman or twobut all are w down the rounds, I think If there is a vet LT that is 30ish try for him ( i mean a good one Like The browns have and almost put out for de) otherwise if this years draft has any LT, Or ffen

I wish the Packers would go after Joe Thomas (Browns). He's a Wisconsin boy, went to UW, and would be an instant hit in Green Bay. He's also a family guy, and has stayed close to his family back in Wisconsin.
He'd be a big catch if they got him.

the Packers and 4 other teams had a shot at J Thomas this season, The browns did not WANT to trade him, They were looking to see what he was worth. he would have cost a lot. But he is still one of the best in the league. That is why i mentioned him.

I have a hunch he'd take less from Green Bay, with a longer term contract, just because he could play for his favorite team. Tuascher is a prime example of a guy who wanted to play at Wisconsin, and the Packers because this was his home. Been several of them over the years. Abbs is another example.
I have my fingers crossed that they do something to get him on board. He has a great work ethic, his off field demeanor is exceptional, and he's a "team player." All the essentials needed to be a leader.

I agree. It would be nice to meet everyone we talk to out here. I've met 4forfavre, and Doc is my son. We're all family. If we're ever in the same neighborhood we should get together.

Where are you located Happy? I'm in Nothern, MN but I get back to SE WI once in a while. It would be fun to meet! It's a small group here but I still like it. At least there isn't the politics and BS where Gimpy runs the show.

Is he still screwing up that site? Unbelievable! The guy is a total waste! It would be nice to get together somewhere in Wisconsin over the summer, or early fall. Maybe even take in a preseason game, or practice together.
I'm game!

I still have a picture taken back when Packer Report was a great online presence, and physical paper. Pictures taken when we partied with the owner of the paper, up in Green Bay, before a game. They were great people, and ran the site well. After it was bought out by the new owners, and they brought in morons like the gimp, it went totally down the tubes. Not worth visiting, and not worth reading to be honest.
It's too bad that there are people out there like those who are leading the way on PR.
All this brings up an interesting blast from the past. I still have copies of all the communications I had with gimp and others, and how gimp lied to get his foot in the door, and continued to lie, and undermine the people who were actually running the site so long ago. I'll never forget how he threw Nick under the bus.

they break there own rules. I was banned and i looked up the rules and after reading the first 4 i stopped because Gimpy had lied and broken the very first 4 rules himself. Gimpy and this Hyat are good friends and love to put people down all the time. but If you talk back and NOT respond in like, but do indeed tell them they are unfair,, you get banned. I tried to get more people to complain, the few who did became mods. and the others got banned.

I sent Gimp an angry message back when I found out TW was banned. I was immediately banned for life. That's ok, I don't need people like that. There were some great years of great discussions, it's too bad it got ruined.
