Agreed. Time to invest in the near future, not ten years down the road. The Rodgers era is going to run out in a few years, and it's rebuild from scratch.

MM and the Packers have lost 5 out of seven playoffs games in the last min,MM(Capers) is going soft all the time in Coverage, plus the Team has had some reall bad luck . That tipped pass to give the cards the lead was one in that game you wish never happened.

"We could have won it!" I hate that expression. If you could have won it, what stood in your way? Luck has nothing to do with it to be honest. When a play goes in favor of another team it's usually because they worked hard enough to have it happen that way. When a team loses a lot of games due to last minute scores, and luck for the other team, it's usually an excuse made by losing coaches and teams to explain away why they didn't win, so we should all feel that it's okay.
I saw positive things from some Packer players. I think our receiving corps is pretty well set for next year. But, knowing the mindset of both McCarthy and Thompson, one or both of Janis & Abbrederis are going to be on the hot seat. Also, despite Rodgers feeling that Kuhn is an essential part of that team, I see him getting cut in favor of a less costly player. I see a lot of rebuilding going on because they won't have money in the budget to pay for several guys who will be unrestricted free agents.
How will they draft? I think they start with a defensive or offensive lineman who is a "can't miss" type. I think the Packers need to address the fact that they have way too many injuries on the offensive line, and something is wrong. I also think that we are in desperate need of a left tackle to protect Rodgers. If they plan on Bakhtiari out there, we're screwed. He's worthless. Tretter was far better, but they're going to end up losing him to free agency in the end, because he deserves to play, and that will be somewhere else.
I hope the get Peppers under contract for next year. The guy was the stable force on our defense. He's a talent, regardless of his age.
Where will the Packers go next year? I haven't got a clue. I'm waiting to hear all the excuses as to why things didn't work out this year.
