I just read that headline online. Even the players don't believe in this team. They quit weeks ago. Rodgers looks like he wants a one way ticket out of town. The disgust on his face says a lot in my opinion. I want to hear MM speak the truth. The headline should say. MM Apologizes to fans for pathetic 10 game stretch. "Looking back I wish I would have put some time into coaching this team and developing a game plan to help my players be successful."

Your last statement is something I totally agree with. For that matter, everything you said? I agree. Even the part about Rodgers having a look on his face that he's "had enough," and wants out.
This is the most dysfunctional I've seen the Packers since late in the Sherman regime, and before that, with our one year wonder.

can the Packers come up with a game plan that will allow them to at least stay in the game against the Skins? MM needs to make offensive plans different than what he used the last 10 games, Yes he tried to run the ball a lot instead of pass the last game vs the Vikes, but why would he do that when he had his offensive line so beat up? He went in the wrong direction I thought.

McC believes he can walk on water as a coach. The idea that you make a game plan and just expect the players to execute it is nuts. You have to make a game plan they can honor through execution, not one beyond their grasp.
For some unknown reason, McC lives in a dream world, and when he takes the tools of the team away through planning, and they lose, you see player confidence go down hill. I think he lost them coming off the bye, with his "gonna establish the run no matter what," with a handful of plays, did it. Slowly, he lost control of this team.

The very first play of the Viking game, they had 9 players in the box and we still ran the ball. I knew it was going to be a long day after one play. They had 5 guys on the line and 4 linebackers. He doesn't adjust and must not let Rodgers adjust much during the game because you know Rodgers wants to spread it out more.

You said it. Nine in the box, and no pass play to change into, to offset it. It's the schemes, the way the routes are run, and the personnel on the field. Rodgers is forced to run a play he knows is doomed from the start.
The only time this team plays well is when the coaches just call formations, and Rodgers picks the play at the line of scrimmage. It's usually in the hurry-up, or two-minute drill, which are essentially the same.

The part I don't understand is why don't the coaches see that? I know very little about football when it comes to the X's and O's. They are supposed to be professionals and must see way more than I do. MM's ego is getting in the way of this team reaching it's potential.

MM was trying to establish the run and hope defense and the run game with a little as possible passing could win the game. He found out that with a injured line you can pass better than run the ball well. I do not understand how he thought trying to run with that line would come even close to working. Now If he brought in a rb that was like a scat back type player maybe they had a chance but not two big backs that rely on the line to get them into the second line of defense where the little jitter bug type would dart and twist to find the tiny gap to get there and make people miss by deception. The two backs we have are guys who hit the a gap, then make a move to have a lineman, lber try arm tackling or high hits, they just power there way past that. but you need a good and healthy line. the Pack I feel are doomed against the Skins, they have no offense to keep up with the skins scoring ave. Now if of course the Packers defense plays lights out then maybe the Packers could squeak out a win. But the defense would need to make some big drive killing plays and score 10 points themselves.

I'm not certain McC grasped any of it.
