Let's see. Something I can say that's positive about the Packers. This is difficult. Okay! Let's see if these work.
We have neat uniforms. I really like the green & gold, as well as the G on the helmet. My favorite to be honest.
I think Jake Ryan is a pretty good LB. Just don't ask him to cover fast guys. That's not fair to any linebacker, unless he's a coverted safety or CB. They are just too big, and slow, to run with these guys. They're holding Ryan out as being too slow to do the job, and making sure when Matthews covers anyone, it's usually a slower RB, or TE. They won't put him on an island to fail like they did Hawk, and now Ryan.
I like the way Julius Peppers plays defense. He's there, where he's supposed to be, on the outside, most of the time.
I like the dedication Crosby has to being a better kicker every day, and does everything possible to show it.
I like the dedication of Richard Rodgers to be the best he can be, and think he's by far our best TE, regardless of what the coaches want to believe.
I like the way John Kuhn plays, always giving it his best shot, and his leadership on the sidelines. A class act. That will get him cut next year, if McC is still there.
I like the way our defense has improved over all. Taking 2 solid CBs for the future may have helped, but I hope everyone remembers, these two guys get new contracts after 3 or 4 years. Ain't like we get to keep them if we don't pay them enough early enough.
I like the fact that this is probably McC's last year as HC in GB. If he's gone, I would accept almost anyone taking over, as long as they were a WCO coach! Period.
