Schemes don't matter. It's execution. It has nothing to do with coaches being able to design offenses and defenses that compensate for strengths and weaknesses on the opposition.
I'm sorry This is about as stupid a statement as I've ever heard. He's saying that no matter how bad the game plan is, it's the players who fail to execute the plan, and that's the reason you lose.
This tells me just how separated from reality he's gotten. It's definitely a time for change.
