Okay. The Packers rebounded to beat the Vikings. Did they play well? I don't think they did that well, but a lot of writers think they did. I thought the Vikings offensive line was in tatters, and I still don't see their QB is being a real threat in the NFL. He has moments, but then he fails when the good QBs don't. They made our defense look a lot better than what it is.
Our offense is struggling. No mistake about it, the reason we stayed in the game was penalties on key downs, defensive lapses, and just downright spectacular plays by individuals on the Packer offense. Example, Jones TD catch in the end zone.
Chicago is without Forte. Lankford looks pretty good. I'd say that that's because their offensive line blocks great for runs. Hard to argue against it, based on what Lankford seems to be able to do behind them. Cutler? He folds his tent if things get tough enough. I don't see that happening in this one though. I think he's trying to salvage part of a season by beating the Packers once. We're going to see him at his best, is my guess.
The Bears defense is nothing like the Monsters of The Midway. If anything, they're less than average. Yet, they can make plays along the line, and put a rush on passers. They'll get to Rodgers more than we want them to. Yet, we should get some good results in our passing and running games. Nothing like we're used to from Lacy or Rodgers, but results that keep us in the game.
I take the Packers to win this one. I'm not nearly as confident as I was four weeks ago, but still believe we can win it.
Packers 27 Bears 20

I didn't think the Packers played well either against the Vikes. I'm hoping to see our offense have a better game, but I'm not confident in that. I see this as a close game but I think the Packer will win it.
I'm going
Packers 24 Bears 20

tuff pick, can the team maintain the emotion? stay focused? If so, the Packers are still the better team. If they play Janis and Perillo the Packers will win by 13 or more. If not they should still win if Crosby can continue to kick well Packers- 33 OR Packers-23 bears----17 OR Bears---21

Abbs isn't on IR? If he can get back in the line up, I think he can help this team.

Nothing much to say. A poorly coached team that has no heart. Just a false sense self value. A QB who looks like he's disgusted with the guys out there with him, and the coaching staff. Rodgers called players out for their lack of dedication to their jobs this past week. I can see it didn't help. It can't, unless the coach lights a fire under them by threatening their futures in the NFL.
It's sad watching a team that has so much more talent than the opposition being beaten up by an inferior team, and the coaching staff being so clueless that they haven't got an answer as to how to right the ship.
Knute Rockne said; "Win one for the Gipper!," to his players, not that they should blow a game to a team they'd treated like a door mat when the season started. This is a total lack of leadership, and McC and his staff should pay the price, with their jobs!
