This is the biggest game for the Packers so far this season. Win this game and they at least have a shot of getting things turned around and winning the North. It would no doubt be a much needed confidence boost. I would love to see it happen but I just don't believe it's going to. The Vikes and their fans are fired up for this game and I don't think it will be close. (Hoping I'm wrong).

I'm totally out of it on this one. I'm going to have to wait until Sunday afternoon to pick this one. I'm waiting for information coming back from the Packers about "changes" being made. This could mean offense, defense, coaches, or even play calling.
Right now, something has to be done to change the way this team is approaching games. Obviously being embarrassed meant nothing.

I also wonder about Eddie Lacy. I have a feeling he's been benched for being overweight. He looks about 30 pounds heavier this year and I have a feeling he's in the coaches doghouse. He ran well last year against MN and it would be nice to see him playing.

That's an issue too. I'm so tired of "coach speak" that makes everything sound rosy when it's not. There doesn't seem to be any real honesty coming from the Packers. That tells me there might even be trouble in the locker room. It didn't appear they were on the same page the day the sideline tiff happened, and they didn't seem in tune this past Sunday either.
It has to change or we're going to see another year of Rodgers being wasted.

I really do not see any big changes in the offensive scheme or coaches(although I would like to see something!) With that said, I am hoping Janis gets more time, Starks has a good day and Rodgers does not try and throw the ball 20 times to Adams again(that is a loss for certain then ) Perillo is going to play more and The defensive front has to stop Peterson. If they can do that the Packers win. It is a must win game in my book. This will tell us just how much fight is left in the Packers. I take an early prediction of

As you know I live in MN. Viking fans are extremely confident in a victory this week. I can't blame them, they have every reason to feel that way. They have no fear of our offense and they are convinced they match up extremely well. One person just told me the only thing the Packers do well is run screen passes and the Vikings defense has shut screens down all year. They believe they will be able to pressure Rodgers and rough up our slow receivers at the line. Most are predicting a blowout. I just find it interesting to hear their predictions. Vike fans have been let down so many times they aren't usually this confident.

Okay! Based on the Randall report, I'm ready to make my pick.
Vikings 24 Packers 14
To be honest, this game could be the turning point for both teams. One could go on to a decent season, the other will end up with a middle of the road pick. What concerns me most is that the Packers could end up winning 10 games, not make the playoffs, and end up as an 18th or so pick. That, to me, is a total disaster of a year. You need to either get a can't miss pick or win the whole show. This middle of the road and happy about it mentality is for those who don't want teams to keep score from the time little kids start playing sports, until they end their careers. Win it all or you're a loser. If you lose, work to get better, not to stay mediocre.

Huge win! Our defense really stepped up today. Our offense is still struggling but they did enough to win. Crosby was the game MVP!

They played well. The Vikings played emotionally, and forgot fundamentals at times. They led to a lot of mistakes, and penalties. When we get three 3rd down penalties against them, giving us first downs, in one drive, things are going the right way for us.
